  1. I copied an old VHS video to DVD from a VCR directly to a disc in a Daytek DVD a recorder. I then extracted the video and converted it to an XviD file using AutoGK, but I've only now realized that the contrast is much too high. Is there a simple way to re-encode the XviD file with adjusted contrast?

    Thanks

Virtualdub. However I would re-rip it and work from there. Otherwise this will be the third time the video has been encoded, and quality will suffer.
