  1. hi im new to these kinds of stuffs so please be gentle.

i have an .mkv fan-subbed, and i burned it to a dvd using ConvertXtoDvd, but the subtitle is gone.

i tried to use VirtualDubMod to convert the .mkv file to avi, but im having error.

so i tried to extract the video file, the audio and the sub from the mkv file, using mkvextractgui but i dont know how to put them back together.

to make things short, umm i need help how to burn my .mkv files to a dvd format withouth losing the subtitles, or convert the mkv files to avi that has the subtitles on it. and last; or to put togther the extracted files from the mkv to a avi format.

any form of help would be appricieated.
    Thanks

    Avi2dvd .
    Autogk .

MkvMagic_1.33 ... found it at doom9 ... crazy thing ... wmv to mp4 ended up with no audio ... WTH ???

For vdub to generate avi with sub embeded , you need to grab the sub title filter from vdubs site .

Then there's the problem with the subtitle's format ... which may need converting .

    Subtitleworkshop .
    Subrip

Subtitledit ... it's out there , somewhere ... handy tool
    AVISubDetector ... handy

Then you might run into audio sync after the conversion .

    SyncView

Do you ask alot all at once or what ... start with the basics .
