    http://news.softpedia.com/news/Over-70-Windows-7-RTM-Cracks-to-Be-Tackled-by-Microsoft...h-134751.shtml

Microsoft has apparently done its homework when it comes down to the plethora of cracks designed to illegally activate the latest iteration of its Windows client. The Redmond company identified in excess of 70 illegal activation bypass methods and has been cooking a small surprise for pirates.
more than 70 ways to bypass activation? i remember when microsoft first introduced it with XP there was no way to bypass it, but between XP and Win 7 70 ways were "inadvertently" added?

maybe they should just give up trying to stop pirates and instead concentrate it producing a top notch OS.

    Why even bother?

Ms was practically giving away Windows 7 left and right back in Aug - Oct last year, e.g. USD $19.00 for eight Windows 7 Professional licenses!

  4. As usually happens with these things, the legitimate users will end up having more problems than the "pirates".

Yes there is. Took me about 5 minutes to find a number of ways via the G-word.

    For a few days.

    Google "XP activation".

MS wants to distribute their OS far and wide. They can't do that if they lock it down so hard that it's difficult for average people, or reviewers evaluating it, to install.

If your Vista or Windows 7 was running slow for you then maybe it's time for an upgrade of your system hmmm... some RAM? HDD? Quad-Core or even Dual???

As for they MS cracks, "yawn" just as guns1nger said. Very average talk in the computer world, some people can't wait for the new stuff to come out just so they can be the first to crack it and sale it on the streets or brag to their buddies
