I have a 5.5GB ISO that I need to burn to DVD. Can this be done without a dual layer dvd?
Thanks.

No.
But you can shrink it with DVD Shrink if it's dvd-video. -
THen it's not dvd-video backup related. Moving you to the computer forum.

Mount the ISO (Daemon Tools, Alcohol120%) and see what's on there. Likely there isn't just ONE piece of 5GB software--probably bunch of folders and files. Make a "Disc1 of 2" folder and a "Disc2 of 2" folder on your HD. Copy some of the files to the 1st and the rest to the 2nd, making sure each "disc" folder has less than 4.37GB. Burn separately. Just remember to copy both discs when you want to use that software...
