Guess that I am like a lot of newbie's.......looking for some advice on purchasing a VCR/DVD combo recorder to copy my VHS collection to DVD. I just don't want to spend a bunch of money for something and it not do the job. Thanks...........Bosn

if you are trying to make copies of commerical vhs's to dvd... It CAN'T be done with a
combo unit.. because commerical vhs Macrovision copy protection on it... you will be better
off with a standalone dvd recorder and standalone vhs player with a device in the middle called
CT200 (video stablizer). -

I will purchase the SIMA ct-200.......now since I dont have to buy the VCR/DVD Recorder, is there some other device that I can get to use my computer as the burner? Something to go from the ct-200 to my computer. Bosn
