Hi,
I am trying to use Windows Media 11 to play DiVX videos, and basically all videos, but for some reason all the videos show up in black and white. All the codecs are up to date, my video card drivers are the latest, a BIOS flash did not help either. After downloading VLC player, the files play in perfect color but in WM11, they still are in black and white. Here comes the interesting part. One video file required me to download a license in WM11, and when I accepted and downloaded the license the filed played in perfect color. Went to try another file and no luck. What is the problem?

You could run a few of the problem files through GSpot for clues, installed codecs etc.

Did things work correctly before you installed WMP11?
