    I have several Ogm files with several audio tracks (English and Japanese). how do i recode them to ONLY have the english language in an avi format

    Try dropping them into VirtualDub Mod. You may be able to see the different tracks in 'Streams' and delete the ones you don't want and save the video as direct stream and audio as full processing to a different format. Often, OGM uses Xvid for the video and Ogg for the audio. You can convert the Ogg to MP3 with VDM or with Audacity. If you want to use MP3 for audio, I would install the Lame MP3 codec. It will give you more options with VDM or Audacity.

    I use all2avi for converting .ogm files with two languages to an .avi with just one language. Works also with .mkv files.

    You can download the latest beta version if you want but I haven't tested it myself. So the best choice would probably be alltoavi_3.0.0_R2_installer.exe. If you have any problems getting it to work just reply. Chose Divx or xvid codec as I don't think the wmv codec and mpeg2 codec work. Also, you can select which language you want in the right box.
