I have a 713KB avi file which i started to carry out the dvd conversion.
started at 11.50 and by 4pm it was finished ????? normally it would take 8 hours or so.
I did notice that a bubble popped up saying something about low virtual memory,would this be the reason why i only have a dvd duration of 21 minutes.
Not sure why this message popped up as i have 1 gig memory and only s2d was running and a spare 100 gig on the hard drive.
Please advise.

Is it only this file which is causing the issue?
8 hours!! Wow that's a long "usual" duration. What is your PC?SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

It normally works no problem.
It takes about 6/7 hours at least but beside that the point i am making is i only had a 21 minute dvd ????
I am now going to give it another go and see what happens.
I will come back with the results. -
Just done it again.
5 hours into the conversion up pops virtual memory message conversion ends and i now have a 979MB film which is about 20 minutes long.
I have the same pc as ever and also cleaning the hard drive etc.
Just going to forget it now,cheers -
To be honest it will most likely be just that file... especially if you have not had the same issue with any other... If you want you could drop me an email so i can give you a location to FTP the file to for me to check...
