    I have my computer set up like this

    View: Tiles
    Arrange Icons by: Type/Show in Groups

    Is there anyway to have the free space avail to appear using these settings?

    Not sure what it is you asking , but for windows explorer it's , view , status bar ... free space lists on status bar .

    Ok that's good enough for me. I didn't realize that it showed the free space in the status bar. thanks for the info.
