I use DvdFabdecrypter to rip my dvd.
On the cd are episodes recorded from my dvd-recorder
and now I want them on my computer.

But why does it takes so long? Fabdecrypter has been running
for over 12 hours and bit by bit the dvd is ripped but as I
said it takes way to long!

    Help me please!

You shouldn't have to use dvdfabdecrypter on home burnt dvdrs. Try just copy the video_ts folder to the hdd. If it wont work it's probably some media problems try then Isobuster or another dvd/computer.

Make sure your reader and burner are running in DMA mode instead of PIO. PIO mode is much slower.

Copy the files doesn't work, neither does ISObuster.
I've tried to rip the dvd on another computer but that didn't
    work either.
Is there really no other way?

Seems like there are plenty of read errors on your source DVD. Try DVDDecrypter (but I doubt that will work if what you've tried so far has failed...)

Have you tried cleaning the disc? Is it scratched?
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Yes, it is finalized. I see your piont :P

There are no scratches on the disk.
I've got no idea why it wouldn't rip...
