Using QuickPar along with Isobuster is the only way to save CRC errored DVDs. So if someone has a lot of experience using this program to recover CRC errored disc please post screenshot of the best settings(or at least optimal for smaller file size), for example-

Krispy - QuickPar works for ANY file set. Come on now...
Those look like good settings to me. The only prob is that your mpv is 4.2 gigs and a 10% PAR set will put you at ~4.6 gigs - might be tight fitting this on one DVD, but of course you can put the PARs on another disc.
I keep my Source Block cranked all the way up, slide it to see what happens. It is fine where it is.
The Restrict Block Size does not matter to you since you are not posting to Usenet.

Agreed, those settings look good to me too. Maybe crank it to 20% if you'll be storing on a separate DVD.

BTW, make PARs out of your BURNED discs; do not try to make parity files of a DVD prior to burning. Your IFOs and BUPs will be different. Burning software that knows how to properly burn DVD-Video will have to alter these files during the burn in order to make the disc compliant. That means if you make a parity set of a pre-burned video DVD, there will already be a few bad blocks or "errors'. Although there shouldn't be many, there might be enough bad ones to make the difference between a recoverable disc and an unrecoverable one.
Also, obviously, if you're messing around with formats like MPV, you'd need to convert it to Video_Ts format anyway before doing anything else. -
What I meant was that QuickPAR was for archived file sets such as RAR.
As to what the OP wanted, you guys are telling him basically how to use QuickPAR. But what I think he meant, was how to recover dvd's that contain crc errors. If you don't have any PAR files of a given DVD, QuickPAR will not be any help trying to correct crc errors.
Of course, it won't be the first or last time I misread a post here.Google is your Friend -
Kritter - you could be right. I was making some assumptions based on another thread... I will wait until the OP chimes back in.
