i just converted a .avi file on my computer to an ISO using avi2dvd. the resolution of the file is 720x272 and the default setting for the aspect ratio was 16/9 which seemed correct. also, the output setting was 16/9. I ran the entire process and burned the ISO file using ImgBurn and all went well except that when I went to play it on a dvd player, about half of the screen was cut off horizontally on either side. any ideas why?

It's always a good idea to load the iso into Alcohol 120% virtual drive before any burning to view the flick. There must be some setting in options that was overlooked in avi2dvd. How does the avi look if you use VirtualDub because this program will play it "as is". Try using ConvertXtodvd, don't select to burn straight away but to save the files to HDD, then view the Vob's and see how they look. If OK then use Nero Burning Rom to make DVD Video.
