    Ok this is the deal:

I am making a svcd on 2 discs with 2 selectable subs.

The movie encoding is done without any probles. (CCE)
So i cut the whole mpg into 2 and noted where.
In subrip (0.97b) i select the first sub track and adjusted the colors (i-author selected)
When the ripper was done i converted the file so i-author should be able to read it and then i cut it at the same place as the mpg and save.
    So far so good, right?

Now i split the .mpg to m2v and mp2.
startup the iauthor mux, select .m2v and mp2. enable ogt. select the saved file text file. and start.

first everything looks good, the muxer scanns video and audio and start muxing a little bit in it stops and i get a Win msgbox telling me that the iautor muxer have made an error and it will be shut down!

whats worng? i have tried reripping, ripping outher subtracks, muxing only with either track.

    any ideas wanted!!

  2. Does your error sound something like this? "OGT Channel 1, first time over" If so, I've had the same problem... and this was it. I had encoded the mpeg at the maximum SVCD comliant bitrate, so when I tried to add subtitles, I-Author knew that there was no room to add more information and still keep it compliant. I reencoded the file at a slightly lower bitrate, tried again, and it succeeded in making the I-Author *.mps.
Maybe you're doing the same thing. If not, I hope you find out what's up. Good luck.
