I forgot all about the VHS protections...What type of of descrambler is best to transfer my VHS tapes to DVD. I am going to copy to hardrive then convert to DVD..I have the video card..but that protection puts those swiggly lines in....Back in the old days I was aware that some type of descrambler could remove this...What is best for this project?![]()

The most common copy-protection on VHS tapes is macrovision.
Search the forum for that. You will get a zillion hits, plus or minus a few.
