    I bought an Ipod (5gen) last January/Feburary. I opened it finally 2 days ago. I've helped my wife with her nano before. I didn't like itunes much then, and I definitely don't like it now. When trying to update the ipod it gave me an error code (Something that the support says is something that happens with itunes 7 and may require me to bring in my ipod)...so...are there really any alternatives to uploading my stuff to my ipod?

    I have good luck with www.yamipod.com and it allows you to copy songs from the iPod (as does Anapod), but Yamipod is free.

    You can also try WinAmp (with the default iPod plugin, or ml_iPod).
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
