Hi!
When i burn mpeg to vcd everything works fine. Quality is perfect and when i watch the movie on computer audio sync is ok.
BUT sometimes while watching the vcd on a dvd-player (scott), i have strange sync problems - the movie suddenly goes slower or faster and returns to the correct audio after a few seconds. When i rewind the film a few seconds and play the scene again everything is okay.
Does somebody know a solution for that strange problem?
Thx, MCPiiit

I had a GE 1101P that (supposedly) supports vcd and svcd. It did the exact same thing. Vid speeds up a sec, then sound is out of sync, vid plays slow until sound catches up. This would happen over and over again. I had a fix but its not much of one. I found that it would play vcd's made of many "clips" fine so I cut up my MPG-1's into pieces and it was ok. However, this is not desireable so I eneded up buying a new player after wasting HOUR AFTER HOUR trying everything from diff encoding techniques to blah blah blah; NOTHING WORKED! Another user w/my same model posted here so I eneded up getting rid of it. It's shitty that they would asdvertise it w/vcd and svcd when it clearly does not work. Forget SVCD's on it, they are worse..
AND Again I take this all back, see post:
