Yeah i read the script and liked it, but the actual looks of the bots themselves REALLY suck.

Megatron for example is NOT "megatron" at all, just some freaky, generic chrome, insect-looking bot that bay's team cooked up.

Some of them look kinda neat though, like black-out and the decepticon police car, but for the most part the rest are...blehh!

I'm personally boycotting the movie, they lied about this movie from day one. First they said it will be based on G1 (having robots turn into cars doesnt make it G1 to me, every single show nearly had it!) and then they excite everyone with a Truck that looks like Prime and of course later they say they never meant for it to be the movie one!

Those just aren't transformers, just cause they "transform" doesn't make them so. I mean come on, there are loads of transformer type robot series out there (Macross, Gobots G-Force just from the top of my head). I dislike the whole robot appearance completely and there is no "personality" that will even hint to the original, it's a total disappointment to me at least.

Even Prime looks more like some low-tech horror movie instead of the impressive robot he used to be, they look more like some man made robots and not from another planet. They took it way too far with the appearance alteration, i hope the movie fails drasticly but i doubt it will. Cause if "Superman Returns" was considered good on reviews, then today's public only want dark and grossness.

I'm gonna stick with the original things thank you very much

Oh Yeah! that's the only real Transformers Movie!
Heck, if they kill prime in the new movie, it sure won't bring tears to my eyes like the original does all the time!

one thing i will say about transformers though is later on in life i started learning about cars and mechanics and if you listen to what they say in the cartoons its funny as. they'll say the stupidest stuff that doesnt make sense. as a kid i didnt know any different though :/

But that's the whole beauty of it, it doesn't have to make sense!
As a kid we enjoyed it because we didn't care for the mombo jumbo techno babble! we simply enjoyed it cause it was fun!

Bay is trying to make it look "real" but this is not real, this is fantasy! so it doesn't need to make sense!
