Hi,
I have a very weird problem with DirectVobSub. When I installed it, it ran flawlessly with PowerDVD, but had problems with Media Player. I decided to delete DirectVobSub, as I started to use ffdshow-20060127 which includes subtitles.. However, when I uninstalled DiectVobSub, Media Player started to work with everything, whilst PowerDVD 7 only worked with "normal" videos. (For example videos from cell-phone). When trying to play DivX in PowerDVD 7, it freezes, system performance use reaches 100%, and nothing happens. I can still press stop, and everything goes back to normal. I do not wish to use DirectVobSub, because it messes my Webcam up, by running and crashing my system. So::: How to make PowerDVD work without DirectVobSub?
I have tried the following:
* Uninstall PowerDVD/reboot/install in same folder/different folder
* Clean registery
* Uninstall DirectVobSub in different patterns (first Power DVD, than Vob sub/vice versa)
I have never heard of this problem before.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
