I recently upgraded to the latest nforce drivers from nvidia. After I upgraded I noticed that when I had the monitor power save options on to turn off after one minute , when zoom player would exist on the close of playing a video, the monitor would not turn off. It would just turn off for a split second, then back on. This only happens with zoom player and I am not sure why. I went back to the old drivers, but that did not help. If anyone has any suggestions as how to fix this problem I would appreciate it. I did a lot of installing codecs and directshow filters also this week, which might have been the problem but i removed everyhing. I would really like to fix this so I do not have to format.
    Thank you very much

This isn't the first time I've heard of power save settings causing problems.

Is it absolutely necessary to have power save turned on? Life would be easier for you if you use the "Always On" setting and just manually power down the monitor when you're going to be away

Its not that. I like watching movies before I go to sleep. Sometimes I'll put on a comedy and half way thru close my eyes, so when the movie is over the monitor will turn off, so I wont have to get out of bed. I know, lazy, but I just wanted my power settings to start working properly again. I found out Zoomplayer 5 didnt have this problem, but I wasnt too found of some of the different features, so I just used my Acronis image to go back to the way my computer was. Everythings working back to normal again.
