  1. Hi, I have convert a film from avi(div_x) to mpg because I want to burn it to a VCD. But the mpg file is to big (900Mb). Is it possible to reduce it to 800Mb?

    Please help me!

I have already cut some of the text in the end.

you could cut out some of the film. (ie credits)

or cut the MPEG in half, and use 2 CD-R's

  3. he there....

    you have 2 options:

1.. you have to resize the bitrate.. you can do this in TMPGenc, the downside of this is that the quality is a little bit bad...

    2. Leave the end and the beginning and burn it on 2 cd's..
you can use TMPGenc also to cut it in to 2 peaces..

  5. try this:

    1) start TMPGenc..
    2) go to settings
    3) go to video.....
    4) change @ option "bitrate" from 1150... to 1000...

I have never done this before, so i cant tell you what the quality will be when you're done... but it seems to work.. so give it a try.

I usually just put the film on 2 cd's, it isn't handy, but i see it like going to the theater, you also get a break there

    good luck
