I have recently upgraded from windows me to windows xp and as a result I have lost (or it has been deleted) the Divx.log file needed to encode dvd, mpeg1 etc into divx avi format through xmpeg 4.2a. The divx.log file was located on my c drive prior to upgrading from me -
Q. What would I need to do to create a log file or to obtain one so that it can be highlighted within the preferences of the divx 4.12 codec screen in xmpeg 4.2a.
Furthermore when using the divx 4.12 codec I am unable to encode audio beyond 24,000Hz (the option is unavailable)when I would like to encode audio to 44,100Hz and 48,000Hz as I could when using windows me and xmpeg.
Q how can I encode the audio to 44,100/48,000Hz
Cheers in anticipation to response
