Ok, I should be able to figure out how to do this...but I can't. How do I capture the information displayed by x264 after an encode finishes into a text file? I am using batch files to encode on WinXP/Vista64. I have tried a simple direct into a text file and it just creates an empty file. I don't see any switch for a log file under --fullhelp either.![]()

To answer my own question, I needed to add '2>log.txt' (or whatever I want to call the file) to the end of the command line. That outputs all of the stdout to a text file. All of the various updates are recorded there as well, but I can scroll to the bottom for the final output info.
