Removing parts / scene non-english dvd movie but also keeping english subs?

I have a DVD movie, it's an asian film so it has english subtitles. My question is, how do I remove certain scenes from the movie (which is now in video_TS files) then put it back together and burn it, but at the same time keeping the subtitles?

I've tried it with vobblanker's cut/preview option and it works well with cutting out scenes i don't want but it loses the english subtitles, and i want to keep them.

Any ideas?

The big problem that you would have is that the subtitles would be out of sync if you cut scenes from the film. Are you prepared to edit the subtitle?

Thanks, yeah i was thinking the same about the subs being affected/out of sync by removing parts of the film, but yes i'd definitely give editting the subs a go
