A man in amsterdam has held a group of people hostage for hours in an old office once used by the phillips corporation. He was blabing something about widescreen tv is bad quailty and that he was going to kill everone cause of widescreen tvs!!!. The cops had the place surrounded but the man ended the siedge by blowing his brains out!!!

I wonder if the man is (was ) one of vcdhelps members who just spent too many hours trying to get 120mins to a cd our a svcd with ac3?!?!?!?!?!!!!

  2. I'm betting this is an "Urban Legend"(unless you have a link to a reuters/upi/bbc/othereputablenewsagency story on this).
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

Yep, its almost certainly true! I heard it throught the day on BBC Radio 2's news bullitins.

Actually, it is more beneficial to have a skeptical mind. Young people, especially children, generally do NOT have very skeptical minds, as you grow older you develop a more skeptical mind. Asking for reliable evidence to back up what is being said is a sign of a critical thinker. Check out this story about Britney getting buckets of piss thrown at her, should people blindly believe that too? Just because other seemingly insane news stories happen to be real?

Dude, I am trying to get to the truth. Ask anyone here in the UK the credibility of the News of The World and they will laugh. I mean, do you totally believe in the Britney story because it appeared in the News of The World and was reported by Yahoo! to appear in the News of The World? That is no evidence that actually it happened. I used to work in a Newsagents and always got to read the papers: Let me tell you, the News of The World was always full of shit, most stories are extremely exagerated and biased.

  8. does anyone really believe anything in any London Tabloid?

i liked one i read the other day about Mr Spears, Jason Timberlake saying this "She may be a virgin, but her mouth certainly isn't"

now is this fake, or is it real.

she did dump him a week after he supposedly said this?
