What is the correct method to split avi files with vbrmp3 audio using VD or VDM?
Am I supposed to rewrite the header in VDM? Not re-write the header and save as wav then compress to cbr mp3, etc. My end game is to split up a huge avi file w/ vbrmp3 audio without losing a/v sync.
Thanks for the help all.

In VirtualdubMOD(not virtualdub) select No and then save as usual.

I did this (selecting No) and saved to wav. Then loaded the avi again, switch off the old mp3 audio and loaded the wav. Then used the lame.dll to repack w/ my cutpoints which gave an a/v sync problem...
Should I just save "no" then save as mp3 then use THAT mp3 stream?
Or is it is simple as saying No and not messing with anything else, make cutpoints and save?http://encoding.n3.net <-- for all your DVD and CD backup needs!
