    Hello,

I'm using ConvertXtoDVD to burn some episodes of '24' for my sister. I've made a custom menu picture featuring the main character of the show, Jack Bauer. The first DVD I burned had the top and bottom of the picture chopped off, because the picture I made was not in 4:3. I quickly rectified this by adding pixels to the left and right, and now the image size is a perfect 4:3. Problem is, now no matter what I do, the menu picture does not appear on the actual DVD at all! I still have the selection items, but the background is just pure black.

Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, what did you do to fix it?

    Thanks for your time,

    -Ice Cracker

  2. perhaps try measuring one of the default background pics that come with Convert2 & compare to yours. Otherwise, as long as you have selected the pic for your background, it should display. Can you see your pic correctly in preview mode?

Hmm... I just checked, and my image (the proper 4:3 one) clocks in at 1128x846, whereas the default backgrounds are 720x540. The thing is though, the original one that works was 800x846, and it worked.

And yeah, it does show up properly in the preview box.

I just tried doing another burn with the original image and now it doesn't show up either... Should I try remaking the project from scratch and reconverting?

  4. strange that it shows in preview view but not on finished project. I always resize any custom pic to the default sizes & they have always worked for me. Not sure what it could be....
