Nero settings to manually create DVD Video disc ?

The original is not encrypted. For some reason recode and DVD shrink both choke on the files even if I'm trying to goto a DL disc. So I just want to copy the files manually to the disc.

What settings should I choose in Nero Burning Rom to create the disc? Data or Video, what iso settings etc?

If it's not encrypted and you are having problems copying it, it most likely has a problem with the disc. I would try to copy it with DVD Decrypter, set to ignore some errors. Also check the disc surface and look for scratches, blotches.

If that fails, maybe ISOBuster.

Once you have copied it to your harddrive more or less successfully, use ImgBurn to burn to a DL disc.

Nero is pretty much useless for this type of operation. Nero is OK for burning, but not much else, IMO.
