Hello,
I have a video shot using still camera. That video is of 30fps and size 640x480. I would like to include this video along with other footage shot using camcorder as a PAL DV video.
I will be glad if experts could comment how I can resize this still camera video so that my video editor can accept it as a PAL video.
Many thanks

I'm not sure of this but I think there are no differences between PAL and NTSC for digital camera video files. They are usually highly compressed MJPEG at a specific size and frame rate.
The PAL/NTSC switch only affects the analog output from the camera for viewing.
To convert 30p to 25p, frame decimation (every 6th frame) could be done or an editing program could interpolate new frames at 25 fps. Or, you could just let it play at 5/6 speed. -
I am sorry but I think I should have been more clear.
The DV video that I shoot with my camcorder is PAL so 25fps and PAL dimensions of the picture.
The one that I shoot with still camera is 30fps and 640x480.
To get this still camera video accepted in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, I have to first change it to 25fps and stretch it to 720x524 (or something like that ) PAL dimension picture otherwise it doesnt accept as I select 48KHz, PAL video profile while importing the DV footage to premiere pro.
So any instructions (along with possible programs I could use) on tweaking the still camera video is most appreciatd. -

You would need the proper codec (usually MJPEG is used by these cameras) and do the conversion to say, DV or uncompressed YUY2 in Virtualdub using size and frame rate conversion. I'm assuming your Premiere Pro project is DV or uncompressed YUV format. If your project is uncompressed RGB, use that as your target format in Virtualdub.
