I took this 11.4 MB video in QuickTime format but the KODAK DC 7560 camera ran out of memory before I stopped tapeing.
Now I have the file but can only view it on the camera, not on a PC.

It turns out someone needs to dive in to the Hex code of the file.

If you would like to look into this please let me know so we can work out the details.

    Thanks, Hans

PS: I had this in a different post https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=314651&sid=c112285c4d227fe45c48ff5 d102a025b before but deceided to re-post with the new evidence.

So far this has been looked in to:

opening it in a variety of software
    - VLC : won't play it
    - Quicktime Pro : won't open it, say it is damaged
    - g-spot 2.60b1 : opens it but cannot determine codec
    - virtualdubmpeg2 : cannot determine the codec required

I have tried to change the fourcc manually to four it to open, but everything sees the file as damaged and incomplete.

Maybe someone else has an idea ?

GSpot and VDub won't handle QT format files.

I'm not aware of any QT repair utilities except Mac-only FileJuicer. However, their website gave me a little idea:

    http://www.filejuicer.com:16080/FileJuicer/formats/formats?f=mov-repair

As you CAN get Dumpster for the PC, you may be able to grab enough of the file to hex-edit to just get the available parts, but I have no other details.
