I have a bunch of VHS tapes, some commercial, some recorded off the air, that I want to transfer to DVD. I bought a used Panasonic AG-7350 SVHS VCR at a flea market in order to do this. Is this a good VCR for this purpose? I'll be using a Canopus ADVC-100 to do the capturing. Also does anyone where I can get a manual for this VCR? The guy who sold it to me didnt have one and Panasonic's web site didnt have it either

You should be able to get decent results from almost any VCR. The only reason for special hardware would be if your tapes are in bad condition. Also, some S-VHS VCR's are very picky about tape quality.
