I'm trying to convert some mp3's and I get this option of stereo types that I don't recognize.
These are Forced Stereo, and Forced Mono would anyone know a explainative definition for both of these?

Forced stereo seperates the channels and should not be used on <192kbps,joint stereo is recommended for the LAME encoder.
Forced mono is just another name for mono unless it gives you an option to select a channel.
