  1. hi guys i have a question on burning dvd's ok when i convert a vcd to dvd it plays great on my
    sony dvd player DVP-NC875V but when a convert a avi or xvid to dvd and then tried to play
    it it reads (cannot play ) ? so can someone tell me what an i doing wrong or is it the dvd player ???? this would be much appreciated if anyone can help me out THANK YOU

    You might give ConvertXToDVD a try. It will convert most AVI type formats to DVD. If not, it can get a little more complicated......

    It depends on the format and the programs you have available. PAL<>NTSC conversions can get even more complex. You should be able to re-encode the AVI type files to DVD compliant MPEG-2 and author and burn them to the DVD format.
