  1. When I encode an avi to mpeg2 with CCE and premiere as frameserver in VBR I got no problems with the audio. However if I encode it in Multipass 3X I can't get the audio in sync.
I didn't change the framerate (25 to 25). I only resized the file to 480x576 (Pal).
The audio was encoded with Tmpeg and toolame. I tried also to encode the audio with CCE as external setting, but CCE didn't encode the audio in Multipas. The quality of the mpv file however is exellent.
I muxed the file with BBmpeg and Tmpeg both the same result.
I didn't change the bitrate of the audio as I didn't in the video.
    What could be wrong?
    Thanks

Is the video just a couple of seconds behind / before the audio constantly or is the video faster / slower than the audio?

  3. It seems the video is a bit after the audio. It's difficult to say if the whole video has the same desync because it is the u2 concert video, but the video is always after the audio.

Mux with bbMPEG and at the Program Stream Settings tab you can play with the video / audio start up delay.

  5. BBmpeg tells me that I must slow down the bitrate. I used Multipass 3x VBR with an average of 2000 min 300 and max 2520. Might this cause the problem? I want to create an SVCD.

  6. Mux with BBmpeg and use SVCD settings but changed forced mux rate to 0 (automatic). This is better. Then use VCDImager with GUI to make SVCD Image. Burn the image with Fireburner.

My problem with CCE is I can't use the search function on my dvd player. I can only FF or RW. Sync is perfect however.

  7. I believe that it has something to do with the bitrate-settings because when I decoded with an average of 1600 I had no problems but at 2000 average it's out of sync.
What settings are you using? (I don't care for the size only the quality matters)
