    im using dvdshrink to make compilation dvds, but need a way to add chapter point in individual videos so if they are long they can be skipped.

    Any free and easy suggestions?

    Reauthor the DVDShrink output with TMPGEnc DVD Author. Not free, but free trial.
    Or do some IfoEdit magic - free, but not really that easy.
