I'm shopping for a new capture card to replace an ATI AIW Pro, and would like to get one that captures uncompressed video (or Huff YUV) at 352x240 and 480x480. Could those of you who own cards capable of doing this drop me a note?
Thanks,
Ron

The AIW is only restricted by the software. If you capture with virtual dub and select custom video size you can capture in just about any size depending on your system specs and use any codec.

Perhaps I'm confused here because I don't venture into the world of AVI much but I am able to capture from within MMC 7.1 with my AIW at the resolutions you want. I just did a few tests and was able to capture at 720x480 with any codec I have installed on my box. UYVY,YUY2,YVU9,YV12,PICVIDEO - Lossless, Wavelet, and MJPEG. And any other I might happen to have installed. I have more installed but didn't test them. And all of my captures were with no frame loss.
You simply have to set it up within MMC 7.1. Let me know if you would like to know how.
edit here-
Let me correct myself. The PICVIDEO Lossless and Wavelet had dropped frames.

Hello all
I'm not able to capture with MMC 7.X with my AIW 16mb agp1x, 2x AGP from 1999. The direct show filters doesn't work.
The MMC6.3 with 6292 driver is OK.
Any suggestions ?
