Popcorn for movies. Various assorted items for TV.

And Raktejeno doesn't go with Gagh. Slightly aged blood wine is served with Gagh. If you must serve a Klingon dish with Raktejeno, Rokeg Blood Pie goes better.

  5. I love love LOVE popcorn, but I hardly ever eat it anymore 'cause I'm diabetic and the carbs in popcorn send my blood sugar crazy. If I eat it in moderation I'm okay but I can't eat popcorn in moderation, so there's that.

So in a theater, I hardly ever snack anymore, but at home I'll have a bag of peanuts or cashews. All the fat of buttered popcorn but none of the carbs, so that works. :P

  10. popcorn with hot sauce (you can find it in stores that sell mexican food under the name of "valentina", "Tamazula","bufalo", etc...), even powdered chili (you can find it there too, it´s called "piquin" chile)
...and lots of coke with ice (if I´m home, a little rum with the latter is usually welcome)

I prefer to eat nothing while watching tv or movies.

Although sometimes I will watch an episode of something off a DVD while I eat lunch or dinner. There is a tv by the dining table because of it, I would never hunch over a coffee table or eat in a recliner or bed.

its usually dinner while watching movies.

I guess - as far as 'snacks' go - I suppose I would say a cold 'pop' (Canadian eh). Smoke like a bastard though while I watch movies.

I voted for PIZZA which is usually what I eat while watching a movie at home.

In a movie theatre though I prefer Snowcaps candy mmm mmm good.

    P.S.
A long time ago my best buddy (who moved away) would always eat popcorn in a movie theatre. In the dark when he wasn't looking I would throw in some Snowcaps. Minutes later he would be like, "oh no not again ... I hate you".

If you're referring to coke or pepsi then I say pop as well (michigan). Lots of midwest and northern US states say pop instead of soda. Though we're in the minority if you go south

  18. Cardassian Sem'hal Stew with Yamok Sauce & fries.. sounds nice but I mostly just have a soft drink & a smoke at home during the DVD. I hardly ever go to the theatre or cinema these days.

An option for bagels and none for potato chips? Give me a bag of Lays and I am in heaven, especially for football. If the kids are watching a movie with us we usually "nuke" some popcorn. Or sometimes we will serve up some ice cream.

I thought you Michiganders said "Pap"!?

Since it's a rare event to go the Movie Theatre I treat myself (and entourage) to Popcorn, at home it's Green Tea and a Granny Smith Apple although I have been known to drive several miles for Red Twizzlers.

    polls should allow multiple selections....

at the theatre, usually some candy (sour patch kids!) and a hot pretzel with nacho cheese

at home, anything goes. Ice cream, pizza, burritos, cheeseburgers, whatever's around

I got to go with LordSmurf on this one. That is, I take my eating very seriously and don't want to be interupted by no damn movie! Now I am not above eating infront of the idiot box if I am by myself late nights, like a bowl of the kids Apple Jacks or a can of soup or something. The ole lady will make a big deal out of movie time if we rent one, and she will nuke a bag of popcorn more for effect than feeding, and at the theater popcorn is a must.

The bad habbit that I have is smoking, and if someone in the flick blazes up, so do I!
IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT?

    indeed!
I haven't smoked for just over 5 years, but when I did.... if somebody on TV or a movie lit up, me too.
the same goes for Stephen King novels. I would smoke like a freakin' coal train every time a read one of his books, from the tension as well as the fact that his characters were habitual smokers.
