i have 12 eps of an anime (total = 4-5 h)that I want to encode to DVD ( authoured by Tmpgenc dvd author )
    I set Mainconcept
    output format :
MPEG type : dvd (program ((video + audio ) at 1850 (average bittrate) and 352-240 resolution (Scale 348 -208 to prevent overscan ) but Mainconcept give error " the parameter is incorrect " but if i set Resolution = 720 -480 then it works
Could someone please tell me how to make Mainconcept work at that resolution ? I searched in Google in hours but couldn't find anything to deal with it .I'm pulling my hair out
Any help would be very appreciated

in a nutshell, you are trying to create a DVD compliant stream using a non-DVD compliant resolution, that's why main is scolding you.

if you want to create a DVD compliant stream, you need to encode to 352x240, 704x480, 720x480, 352x480 (if you're encoding NTSC compliant DVD's).

1856 is the maximum bitrate at that resolution. You have written average bitrate in your first post. If you are trying to encode VBR, drop the average and make 1850 your maximum. Otherwise encode CBR at 1850.

I set 1850 CBR but it didn't work "the parameter is in corret "
I think problem is the resolution because if I set resolution = 720-480 it does work
    But what I want is resolution = 352 -240
    anyway ,thanks for your response
