Panasonic DMR-EH55 wont play DVD+RW

Hi all, Ive got a problem with my pany that wont play DVD+RW that have been authored on my computer. Ive never had this problem with my other players and its got me stumped. Im not a newbie to DVD authoring but Im not a master either and Ive checked and rechecked that Im doing it right. The pany will play DVD+R both authored and backed up movies.

I contacted Panasonic and they could not provide and answer and simply refered me to a service centre out here in the Central West for them to look at it.

Anyone have any Ideas what may be going on?

P.s. Dont buy a Panasonic until they sort this one out.

Discs may need to be finalized and/or bitset OR it could be the brand of media that you are using. Try another name brand media such as Verbatim.

It could also just be a defective unit, in which case it will need to go to the service center as Panasonic suggested.

Thanks mate but I think your right that the unit needs to be repaired. Ive tried different disks from the cheap and nasties up to the expensive ones with no luck.

For those that are planning on buying this model, Ill post how it all goes once repairs are completed
