  1. Just got a new 19" LCD Monitor for Christmas and am wondering about a few cables.

What is the difference between the DVI cable and the standard VGA cable? I assumed DVI was better quality but wasn't sure. I tried both and couldn't tell a difference. I have my setup with a KVM switch, which requires a VGA plugin. However, if there is a good benefit of using DVI then maybe I could go without...

Anyways, mainly I am looking for a VGA or DVI plug that plugs into the monitor of course but has the red/yellow/white A/V cables so that I can plug in my Xbox 360. I found one that Microsoft sells specifically for the Xbox 360 but it's $40, maybe there is a cheaper one out there?

    Thanks

If you don't see a difference DVI vs VGA, use either.

Here is what you need for the XBox360. A VGA + audio cable.
