The most common cause of that problem is the media used and less often the player. First try some different brand of media or try the disc on different players to rule out the media. It's easiest to change the brand of a DVD than anything else. If you look to the left under 'DVD Writers' and 'DVD Players' for your burner and player, you can see what others use and suggest. You can also look up your present media in 'DVD Media'.

From there, check the file on the computer after ConvertXToDVD finishes it, before you burn it. If it's alright, then you may have narrowed down the problem. Do other programs like DVD Shrink cause the same problem?

Next the burner. But you would have the problem with most all files if the burner was at fault.

You have to be systematic about it and eliminate all the things that aren't causing it before you figure out what is causing it.

    And welcome to our forums.
