I have a Toshiba laptop, i've copied some movies to my hard drive, used dvd decripter,how ever i have one that dosen't even read on my laptop, it says no disk present, however it dose play on my tv/dvd set.
why dosen't it play on my laptop? do i need to download a different player or some other program?

Commercial dvd or burned dvdr/w?
You could try dvdfab decrypter or isobuster(if it's a burned dvd).
