    I’m using VSO ConvertXtoDVD v2.1.4. to convert MKV files to a DVD. The problem I’m getting is that picture looks pixelated, it seems as if the source file got magnified. I originally used 4:3 and then changed it to 16:9 with the same results. Any suggests on settings I need to pay attention to.

    could you post a screenshot? use for example media player classic, file->Save Image.

    Chances are the source has been enlarged. If the video was Xvid compressed it would also have had compression artifacts that will be magnified during the resizing and conversion.
