I have just converetd a movie to AVI file with original audio and I am not sure which player to use. I tried WMP, DIVX and Power DVD and all of them does not play center channel speaker. I test it my sound card (front left, center, front right, rear left, rear right) and they play jst fine, however when I play this movie center channel is missing. I checked file information in DIVX and it says 6 channels audio. Am I missing something here or is there a special player for Dolby Digital AVI?

doesnt mean anything -- you can have just one track of audio in a 5.1 ac3

anyway -- since this is the matrix dvd -- just check the original (which you must have) (which does have center channel info) and redo the disk ....

So this is encoding error? I used AUTOGK with audio option original.

I checked my software, hardware and connections and everything works fine when am playing original dvd. There must be something with the file itself. AutoGK have this option for encoding audio as original, but when I tried to do just 1 vob for test I notice that at the end of encoding it shows audio in 2 channels even with original audio selected.

I think I found what is it, am not sure yet, but I think I did. I opened AC3 FILTER config and I found out that by default output was set for 2 channels. I have changed to 3/2+SW 5.1 CHANNEL and am running test right now
