    The question of the 30 day expiry has been asked many times before. If you do a search on this topic you will find your answer.

    Evidently the search function is down at the moment. If you go to

  6. Does this patch work in XP Home?

    I tried it and got an error. I know I used it in Win98...

    Ah well.

  7. The 30 day limit can be reset by deleting the following registry key:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{63902277-B101-4049-8B46-C24B67E155E5}

    Or, make a file "TMPGEnc_MPEG2_Reset.reg" with the following content:

    REGEDIT4
    ; Enables TMPGEnc's MPEG-2 encoder for 30 more days.
    [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{63902277-B101-4049-8B46-C24B67E155E5}]

  8. Yeah, I was missing a .dll file that regedit needed. Weird coming off a full clean install. Anyway, I found it online aclu(something).dll and put it in my system directory and the patch worked.

    Thanx
