a window pops up n tells me my vitual memory is low. then another lil screen pops up n says im out of sources.
i cleaned out all my temp files n whatnot.

is it because the file im trying to convert is corrupt? that it wont let me convert.
any help would be greatly appreciated

Virtual memory, or the page file in Windows 2000/XP is used when your physical memory is full and windows needs more. Usually this happens only when running very memory intensive tasks, such as 3D graphics or filtering large photoshop files. Running out of virtual memory is usually a sign that there is a memory leak in a program and too much memory is being used, or that you have your page file set up incorrectly.

A memory leak could occur in any software. I have experienced memory leaks from software from major vendors that is designed to be run on large servers, and I have seen these servers crash badly because of it.

First thing to do is make sure you are running the current release of ConvertXtoDVD. I am not aware of any memory problems with this or earlier releases, but it is better to be sure.

Second thing - monitor memory use while it is running. Open the task manager and click on the performance tab. Watch the numbers for physical memory use and pagefile use. If possible, get a screen shot and post it here.

Try it on another video. It may be something related to this one file. If it happens on other files, you have a bigger problem. If it happens on just this one file, you may just have to forget this file or convert it using a different manner.
