    Firstly what type of .ts file is it?

    Sometimes people describe the DVD format of VIDEO_TS (folder) as a "ts" file.

    More correctly it refers to a transmission stream as transmitted by digital TV and can contain video (sometimes mpeg2 or H264 and subtitles and audio in various formats)

    How about posting more details like a log file from MediaInfo then a sensible discussion can follow.

  3. Have you tried vlc to convert it ? since you captured with it

    The audio is LATM/LOAS AAC, and not very many applications support this

    Other options that are verifed to work are:

    1) to use graphstudio using lavc for the source filter and audio decoder, construct a directshow graph , and use avisynth to encode . You can convert the video using normal methods, or use graphstudio for the video as well
    EDIT: the lav decoder only decodes as 1 channel so I would use method #2

    2) demux using eac3to or dgavcindex, and convert the audio using winamp to wav . The rest of the conversion for video is using normal methods

    Thank you for your attentions ;

    Would someone give me a tested way to convert that .ts file , and would you test your idea with example file and check if your solution works or not completely ?
    I(humble) have tried to the work with ffmpeg and avidemux and also VLC in linux and a windows app but all output files had not sound .

    @ poisondeathray I(humble) am not familiar with video decoding ,encoding,demuxing and remuxing and so ... and just require a way to convert that .ts file to another known format that can be played with know players such as media player .

    I managed to convert your 1.ts file into 1.mp4 using SUPER from http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html. It is a free encoder, you simply select MP4 as output format and click start encoding and you should have your 1.mp4 in the same folder. You could try using other formats.

    The program identified the language as Persian but in your sample I could not hear any spoken words, only the sound of the big motor.

  6. Yes i tested it and it works completely. But it's a more complicated method than using super , if that works. So I would try super first

    Hello ;
    I(humble) have used Super for converting , but .mp4 output file has less quality .
    Some other formats have been tested also , in one audio had a delay with video .
    @poisondeathray What is your choice ? Has output file a good quality ?

  9. Hi
    Did you try using better settings in super (higher bitrate) ?

    For the method I suggested - I don't know if these programs work on linux or wine

    This method frameserves uncompressed video & audio. So your choice of encoder and settings (bitrate) determines the final quality. If you choose lossless format, you get 100% identical quality as the original, but filesize will be large

    Audio bitrate is very low in source to begin with (low quailty) , and LATM/LOAS is not compatible with many softwares so you should re-encode the audio anyway

    When demuxing the audio, the delay value is written into the filename , but your sample is too short to determine if there were sync issues. Regardless you can easily use the delay value or shift the audio

    It's common for TS recordings to have drop outs and sync issues. IF you have these, you have to repair them first, or they will never be in sync
