Hey guys,
I'm playing a DivX movie on my laptop and I got the system volume on max and WMP volume on max, but the movie volume is still too low to hear well. Is there any way I can increase the volume?
Thanks,
ALex T

Plug the headphone out into an amp ?
Unless the volume of the audio file itself is very low, there isn't much else you can do.
If you want to, try saving the audio out as uncompressed wav, load it into audacity, and increase the volume, then listen to it to see if it makes a difference.Read my blog here.

Use virtualdubmod to save out the audio. If you can increase the volume, you can use vdubmod to replace the old with the new.

My laptop came with equalizer software. I have at times turned up all 10 bands, thus effecting an overall gain increase.

That seems to be the normal drawback on all laptops I've seen. Weak feeble speakers, low volume. I suppose they don't have decent enough speakers to go with the ultra thin laptops they produce.
