HDTV2DVD will not take my files.

HDTV2DVD will not take my .ts files. I drag and drop and it looks like it's doing something but then nothing shows up in the assets.

If you look at the main thread for HDTV2DVD you will see that there is a build which, given your issue, will at least show you details as to why this is the case. Thereafter i can take a look at the info.

I see there are a few reasons for it not taking my file.
Redoing capture from scratch and doing over at a later time.

I think that I have found my problem.
The beginning of the first file was in 2 channel audio (Recap of previous season) while the rest of the file was in 5 channel audio (The actual episode). Cut out the 2 channel audio part (with VideoRedo Pro) and just kept the 5 channel audio part to make my DVD. The other 5 files (episodes) were also in 5 channel audio. Now ConvertXtoDVD works, SVCD2DVD works and TMPGEnc DVD Author works without a hickup. Found this information with AVIcodec.
