    New on the block. iMac G5, Os X, iDVD,Toast 6, Handbrake, & Mac the ripper.
    I want to extract portions of a home-videoed activity to a compiled DVD. No tracks or chapters on original.
    How do I proceed? Do I have the necessary software? I'd like to do a quality job (for a beginner). Thanks for your help!

    You'll need iDVD or DVD Studio pro. Extract your MPEGs from your existing DVD and author in 1 of the 2 apps.
