  1. I have 8mm reels that date from 1950/60's. Some in B&W, others in colour, without sound. I want to capture these movies and create a digital master file of the greatest quality. I found out that the best method is to digitally scan frame by frame. There are many companies in this business that claim to do this (I searched the internet and found many) but many are scams, they either project the movie in a screen and film with a home camera, etc etc. I'm looking for a top of the line video lab with the best professional scanning equipment and expertise in the field. Can anyone recommend a trustworthy company for this job? Thanks.
P.D.: I know there are means of doing this oneself, even with a home scanner, but it takes a lot of time and the end result won't match the quality of a professional lab.

Many thanks for those links. They seem to be serious in the business. What do you think of these ones?
